I had a '62 Maris card I bought on ebay years ago that turned out to be a stamped signature, and it looked suspiciously like the one on this '59 card, that PSA/DNA passed.  Interested in other opinions.  Price is also unusually low.

What's up bro....Millcreeksports in my opinion is one of the most reputable sellers on eBay as I have dealt with them on many many occasions and they always have great pieces at authentic prices....Iam certain this card is authentic...I never seen that stamp although I don't doubt it exist....it looks to be a vintage version of a Maris auto
not a reflection on Millcreeksports at all.  I watch their items and they are legit, but I am really suspicious of this one.  I still have that Maris card with the stamp, and believe me, I had to look at it a hundred times, under magnification, to determine that it was a stamp.  I will try to find it, and put it up for you to see.
Cee Gee, look closer at the signature. see where it is smudged?  mine was the same way.  I would have to see it in person to be sure but it looks like the same stamped signature to me.  Its an innocent mistake. just like the photo that everyone promotes as Maris' 61st home run.  I had that photo once, the catcher, if you look closely, has a Baltimore uniform on. If it were his 61st, it would have had the Boston block letter.  Again, an innocent mistake, but it is incorrect.
I got to take a look on a computer....the image on my phone is extremely tiny....there's no question if there is an identical smudge on your card and this card it could be determined it was stamped....if you can find your card to compare to that would really help....I own one Maris auto and a Maris facsimile auto of an authentic copy....I know his auto had slight changes through his life...
I have had several Maris' signatures over the past 30 years. sold most of them but still have a vintage on a '61 team ball(very rare, NO clubhouse sigs), a single signed from '79 and the photo I posted.  the card must be in the basement, its not with my "choice" cards because its not authentic.  will keep looking!
Cee Gee, I found my '62 Maris "auto".  this one really fooled me when I bought it a few years ago.  you really have to look at it closely. every time I look at it, I try to convince myself its real, because it is a nice example of his early 60's signature.  it is definitely different than the one on the '59 card, as that reflects his late 50's signature.  While they are different, I am still thinking that is a stamp on the card in the ebay listing.  But unless we see it in person, we will never know for sure!

Is that the wrong item because I don't think those two look very alike?
I referenced that they weren't the same above.  I hadn't seen the card in years, so I was going from memory.  the two sigs are not the same, but I am certain mine is a stamp, and the one I started the tread with, at a distance admittedly, shows similar characteristics.  but I may be wrong.  you would have to see it in person.  most Maris sigs from the 50's are in pen. this doesn't look like a pen.
WOW....its really hard to determine....the one on line has a triangle formation in the "R" were the one you shown is slightly different....I really don't know for sure...it looks like the autos are slightly different although both smudged....very odd...I wish the card on line wasn't so dark to see the entire auto to really be certain...there both definitely vintage version of Rogers autos
Heres a couple authentic COPIES of the great Roger Maris...
and here is my authentic one...I wish I had a ball or photo but there just way to expensive
Cee Gee, here are some photos of my '61 yanks ball, and my maris single signed.
