Doug A -When you actually find anything helpful to post for people on these forums who are looking to buy graphs please let us know. Looking at how many deals you've posted on these forums I can't help but notice that number is hovering around zero. 

The Waterstones restock was already mentioned before you chimed in and before my post. 

I posted on this thread because there are already like 4 or 5 Brian Johnson threads and we don't need more.  I posted it because for U.S. buyers, it will ship faster, cheaper, and better protected from Alabama Bookseller than Waterstones  And if they already ordered from Waterstones and need a spare, Waterstones is limit 1.  Those are all facts.

Also, it's not a question of not liking Waterstones.  They're objectively struggling now.  They're shipping slowly. They have recently sent unsigned books stickered as signed. And it's taking over 2 weeks for them to reply to customer service emails.  

Waterstones seems to be caught up. I ordered a book yesterday and it's already shipped.

Alabama Booksmith has ALWAYS been in stock.  If you had contacted the bookstore by email, FB Messenger or calling them, you would find this is the case.

I am sorry that I do not sit at home and hover on the internet.  I have a job.  And you can take your recommendation and place it where the sun doesn't shine.

There are always issues - like Alabama Booksmith's books being dinged on the jacket.  Some people won't order these just because of that.  So instead of appreciating the restock message and moving on with your life, you chose to pick a fight on a forum.  Very classy move.

We are all trying to help each other.  Find somewhere else to pick fights with people, your troll is showing.

As someone who regularly deals with them- they've gone in and out of stock.  I actually called them in between in-stock period to find out when would be a good time to check back.  But I get it-you have to feel in the right even if it involves lying and name-calling.  I still don't see where you've posted any find to help anyone.  

Going to ignore you now as I have better things to do any interacting with you brings no value.

Helping people doesn't just have to consist with posting links.  People ask for all kinds of help all the time that aren't just "What are the links?".

But I get it - instead of appreciating someone trying to help others, you have to feel in the right even if it involves degrading others because somehow you feel superior because "I've shared links".

In the future, just disregard someone's help - even if you've seen it before, even if you've had issues with the company that they're recommending.  This forum is for us to help others, and that doesn't mean just posting links.  There are other ways to help, and disrespecting someone's post - when they're trying to help - is being the opposite of helpful.

I have been wondering what this back-and-forth is all about as you both posted useful information about a restock,  each of which was more helpful to different people depending on their location, I wanted one of each version so I appreciate both of your updates. I don't see where either of you did anything wrong and it seems like it must be a misunderstanding but just my 2 cents

Anyone order this restock and receive book yet? Still waiting.  Left UK on January 30. Waterstones keep saying it will update when in states. It's been 3 weeks

I ordered on January 3 (to a forwarding service), received a shipping confirmation on February 3. On February 7 it was delivered.

I ordered the restock from waterstones on 12/19, it shipped the next day, and I received it in US a few weeks later.

Waterstones are all over the place with their deliveries.  I ordered 3 books on 17 Dec which were published.  Two were sent separately within the week and received in early Jan (to Australia).  I have sent a few messages about the third book but I am still getting advice that they are having system issues and delays with Royal Mail (cyber attack).  Money taken from my card in early Jan and order says despatch is processing.  They've been a good company in the past to deal with so I will persevere with them for now.

It's not their fault. It's Royal Mail's.
