Ringo Starr Autographed Gartlan Plate

Hi fellas, I'm new here and I've been thinking 'bout starting to collect some Beatles autographs. Is this Ringo autographed plate authentic? It comes with a Beckett letter of authentication, and I personally think it looks good, but I would still like some further opinions on this one. I would also like to know what this plate is worth (the seller went for south of $1000). Thanks a lot. It is really nice to join this forum!

This is most likely genuine, though, of course, I'd like to see it before purchasing. If I were just starting, I'd research a complete Ringo signature, not his 'first name only' scribble. And remember, Ringo was a generous signer - until he stumbled onto eBay.

Thank you so much for your reply! Actually I think that star in Ringo's first name autograph is kinda cute, though it would be better if I could find a full name signature. I'm in China so... it is pretty hard to find a genuine signature at a reasonable price. The above one is among the few (if not only) genuine piece that I could find available, others are just easy fakes (even for a beginner like me). Haven't shopped on ebay before but maybe I'll try someday. Anyway thanks for your kind reply, that last line is really hilarious lol.

It’s probably worth like 300 bucks. it’s a legit signature, but it’s on a plate. Do not pay any where close to 1000

If you’re looking for a ringo signature and have a 1000 to spend, you can get something very cool, like a great photo or maybe an album. You can probably get a modern signature on a color photo for 500.

I think tracks in the UK has a couple of vintage ringos available. Check them out.

I think it’s real, but agree with Mark that there are much better options at that price unless the plate comes with some of Ringo’s personal broccoli.

Thanks for your nice reply lol. Where do you guys usually shop, besides TRACKS and Frank's? I'm looking for a wider option but fear that some other sources might be unreliable.
