My that photo was off! It made the smudge look awful. It is not. I changed it.

I've never bought a smudged signature. Although, many dealers sell smudged signatures as if they aren't smudged.

It does make me sick to see a beautiful signature that has been smudged.

Hands up everyone who has smudged an autograph with a wet fingertip checking to see if it is printed or not!

Not me. That would be insane to me. There are other methods. I don't even know if a varnish based early fountain or ballpoint would smudge.
