Cliff Burton & Lars Ulrich of Metallica, help with value!

Hi everyone!

I would greatly appreciate your help regarding an approximate valuation of this piece of paper, clearly signed by the late Cliff Burton and Lars Ulrich from Metallica on September 24th, 1986 in Lund, Sweden. This was only 3 days before Burton was killed in a car crash here in Sweden, making this one of the very last autographs he signed.

It has also been aproved by the very knowledgeable MetalliGraphs.

Since Burton’s graph is very rare I haven’t been able to find much to compare with, except eBay and the fantasy prices there. So your help would be very appreciated!

Thank you!

Anyone? Would be much appreciated!

I have my doubts, the L in Lars looks way off. Unless they were drunk out of their minds which happened a lot on that tour....

Yes, they most likely wasn’t sober to much during their stay in Sweden…

I am very confident that these are authentic. That is based on:

- Brian Silver from Metalligraphs has approved them and he is by many seen as the best there is on Metallica graphs,
- A close collector friend of mine, who is a RACC dealer and one of AutographCOA’s authenticators also says these are genuine,
- They compare very well to several known authentic examples from leading dealers and/or auction houses, including a Lars graph with an almost identical L. I’ve attached pics of a few of these.
- It’s pretty unlikely to forge a couple of graphs on the reverse side of an old school schedule like these ones are written on. Yes I know that forgers do everything to fool people, but good luck finding a 40 year old schedule to write your forgeries on.

So based on the above I have zero doubt about the authenticity of these graphs.
