Nice examples if they're real!  Not sure about the history of the actors' signing habits.  I would think Takei and Nichols would most definitely be real, given that they seem to have historically had a good relationship with their fans.

We've sent a bunch of the collection in to both JSA and PSA/DNA and haven't had anything turned down yet. I have 2 other Nimoys and 2 Deforrest Kelleys that have been authenticated already. We're doing it in batches and just found the last box to go through had these.

All the most recent Nichelle Nichols autos are very different in style and she's not one of the valuable ones that I generally send to an authenticator. Some famous but common signatures aren't worth the $8-$20 fee. Luckily my buddy gets a bulk price.

A safe guess is that I've looked through over 5,000 index cards from this collection. 4,500 are probably common names in general but there have been some cool surprises. Found 4 Roger Maris, 2 Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, 1 Neil Armstrong, 2 George Carlin, 1 Margaret Hamilton, and a bunch of other decent people.

My dealer buddy has sold off a lot already but is getting some of the better ones slabbed. MIne I get tagged on the back so whether I frame them with a photo or sell them it doesn't distract from the sig.

Wish I knew more about vintage examples.  Most of what I see today is sloppier abbreviations of the signatures above, although Takei has always had a nice signature.
