Using Krylon coating on baseballs to prevent bleeding?

Hello all,

Has anyone used Krylon coating (likely the UV-Resistant Clear Coating) to prevent baseballs from bleeding?

Do you think this would be a good idea for new baseball autographs I've acquired?

I avoid putting foreign substances on my balls at all cost!
