Help with Mantle signed Harridge ball

I'm in the process of negotiating a price to buy this. From my limited experience I'm pretty confident this is authentic but I though I would see what you opinions are.

Is it game used?

That is uncertain if it's game used, the seller is not claiming as much.  It obviously shows of soiling and it also exhibits scoff mark on one of the panels perhaps from a bat but that is unknown.
