Until now most of the signed items that I have purchased have been 8 x 10 photos.

I store these in albums made by a German company called SAFE the leaves are made of uncoated polyester film, they have a slip case to protect the photos from dust and I am able to store up to 60 photos in each stylish album. They are the storage method recommended by Buckingham Covers (UACC dealer 144).

I have just purchased a vintage 11 x 14 photo from the 1920’s / 30’s which is too big for these album’s and would like some advice about storing it.

I do not really want to Frame the items because I am concerned about the signature fading, and know not to use top loaders because of the harmful PVC that they contain.

Any suggestions or pointers as to what to use or / and where to buy a storage solution would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with 11 x 14 signed photos.

For 8 x 10 and other sizes I use Polypropilene archival safe pages from here:

But no 11 x 14 pages available yet.

I think if you go to your local Hobby Lobby, they should have the types of sheets you're looking for - they also have a selection art portfolio books designed for prints that come in 8 x10, 9x 12, 11 x14, 11 x 17 etc - all filled with those polypro sleeves that will keep your photos safe.
