99% sure this IS NOT a John Lennon autograph, but I don't want to be wrong

I got this book from an estate. Someone has written "John Lennon" on the inside page. I've looked at examples of his signature, and I'm pretty sure that someone just wrote his name inside the book (for whatever reason). However, before I sell the book for $10 on Amazon, I thought I would ask someone's opinion. I would hate to be wrong.

Im not an expert on this but others ive seen dont look like this so it has to be fake.

Same here - no way that's real.  Unless he had some crazy variation to his autograph I'm unaware of.

This seems to be a case of someone writing Lennon's name inside the cover...and if they tried to forge his signature...they didn't even come close...

No , not real or even close.. Somebody just wrote the name. Too bad a real one is extremely valuable !
