I'm new here and am currently looking to purchase a baseball signed by Mikey Mantle.  The problem is, I don't know if it is fake.  No letter or certificate of authenticity.  They guy says he inherited it from his Grandfather.  Can you help me out?

looks good.  early 90's probly.

Not in the best shape, but looks fine.

definitely authentic

Thanks for all of your help

Anybody else know of the age?  I was told it was signed after a game in 1968

I dont think the signature dates to that period. Did you manage to get any pics of the logo on the ball or any other markings? even if they are faded If I can make that out I can date the ball within a couple years most likely.

so if the ball dates to 1978 then obviously the sig has to be that age or newer.  It just helps.

I do have more pics.  do you have a number I can just text you them?

I would say that I don't see any logo on the ball.  is it that worn?  Maybe leather?

This is an 80's or early 90's rawlings ball.

almost looks like someone intentionaly removed the logo, or it could have been a batting practice ball that got signed.  the sig is real so thats all that matters, to me if it was mine.

I like it. I really like how the ink has turned to almost a green color.  I like the dirty balls instead of the pristine white balls.
