ZZ Top is selling VIP / Meet and Greet tickets on their current tour.  Supposedly, it includes a photo with the band (please...no handshakes and don't talk the band) and a "signed" poster.  This is an example of what some of the "VIP" fans have been receiving in the mail.  They won't sign in-person and after looking at this, they aren't signing in private, either. :-)

Anybody have any info to back up what I'm hearing?  Or, better yet, info contrary to what I'm hearing??   Sure doesn't sound good.

wow, that is awful!  I have only heard horror stories from people about their meet and greets as of late.  I did it a few years back and got 3 complete signed albums and the photo.

The stories on their website's forum are BAD.

The organizers from Ground Zero, LLC sound a bit rough around the edges...in a Paulie Walnuts kind of way.

My friend won the meet & greet with ZZ Top two or three years ago in news contest. He described it as extremely rushed thing. They got the group of fans together, the band came in, they photographed them.... and the band left. It was just that.... They got previously signed concert poster. He said that It was maybe one minute? Even ZZ Top were suprised - "that´s all?" :)

Isn't shaking hands and saying "Hi" to the band what meeting and greeting is? I wouldn't buy anything that said that.
