Eddie Vedder Autographs, music collecter expert opinions needed.

Hi, this is my first post and I am new to the Hobby. My wife loves two things in this world more than most. Her hometown of New Orleans and the band Pearl Jam. She lost most everything in Katrina and now resides in the Midwest with me. I have been assembling some memorabilia related to the city, and shows she has been too, and plan on having at assembled and matted and framed for Christmas. The ultimate addition would be an Eddie Vedder autograph. She loves the man more than me. Having done a little research, I have learned that PSA/DNA authentication isn't always reliable. So I thought, maybe someone here with some knowledge could look at some pics or auctions and give me a second opinion. I dont mind spending a few hundred bucks, but I damn well want to be reasonably assured it's authentic. I have been able to weed out out a few fakes and such on my own, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Trying to make the woman I love happy is all. If this goes well, Im going to start assembling stuff for my own favorite bands.

All of these have some sort of certification. Mostly PSA/DNA I think.

This one is questionable as hell. I'm not sure silver markers were being used in the 90s when this was supposedly signed, its registered bit the COA is missing, and I can't make out an "E" or a "V" anywhere in the sig. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EDDIE-VEDDER-Signed-Autographed-PEARL-JAM-C...

Any help or advice and especially opinions from people who really know rock memorabilia, would be awesome. I'm doing this for love here.....help please :) Sorry if I broke any forum rules here......newbie....please be gentle.

Hi James,

I'm a long time collector of PJ memorabilia. All of those are legit. Those are all 90's signatures. Ed has changed his sig throughout the years. Today's signature looks nothing like those.

I can get into more details about the different stages of signing, but all of those are legit, in my opinion. Also, that dealer has been selling good PJ sigs for many years.

I have a signed Benny if you're interested, but obviously that's more of a high end item.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the help. Finally made a decision, and its gonna be an awesome addition to her gift. still looking for some other memorabilia, seems my GF has had rare experiences however.....uugh :)

They all look good to me. Eddie's signature has gotten better over the years, although I don't like his new E on Eddie. Toni I'd love to see your signed Benny as I have one also. I'll try to post mine asap.

I met Eddie when he was here and got a few things signed . On ebay I am selling a Eddie vedder signed virology original 94' vinyl! The vinyl alone was 50$!!!
