Thought I was done last year after Christmas but came across these and just could not resist...a complete frivolous purchase as I have all of these cards already signed but since they where slabbed I was all over them...(3 BILL DICKEY'S...RED RUFFING...RUSSELL VAN ATTA...GEORGE PIPGRASS...LEO DUROCHER...AND JOW SEWELL) the only NEW card to the collection is the second Dickey on the top...that one I needed...although all reprints I do have the Pipgrass...Ruffing...Dickey and Sewell cards signed on Original 1933 Goudey's but of course these reprints are in much better shape....God I love these...I need a few other of the Yankees but there so scarce and I know I may never see or own a Ruth or Gehrig signed Goudey...but this was my last monster purchase of 2012...have not looked yet to break the ice yet this year...I will soon...I think I am actually going to slow down on the collecting for a while and stick to the living...instead of the dead...I still need to get many pieces signed from the guys that are still alive...HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLAS !!!

Last 2 ttm's of 2012....Kaline on an original 1955 TV card for a $10 donation in 8 days....and Chambliss was a year and a half return...

Went to a charity signing last night with Bob Griese/Andre Dawson and some others. Also picked up a new Donnie (there was tons of his stuff as he is the one who puts the Night of Memories on).

Here is Mr. Griese signing my photo:

Andre Dawson (tried to get inscriptions and he was only signing his name... =(  He wasn't the nicest fella...)

Here's a cool picture with former Cardinal pitcher Al Hrabosky who wasn't too fond of my Cubs attire! LOL
