Is it me or is the price the people are charging at the CSA event crazy high or what??

A lot of those signatures can be gotten at those prices and below AFTER having them authenticated by Jsa or psa..

Thoughts..

Yeah I don't pay for shows unless it's just someone I reallllllly want to meet. As you said, most of these you can get on eBay with a PSA/DNA, JSA COA for 1/4th of the price. Even better, a lot of times they sign thru the mail for free.

I've been to the CSA shows several times, and yes prices have been getting rather high for the big stars and up and comers.  For the older HOFers it hasn't been as drastic.  But they can charge it because people are still willing to pay it.  Those shows are usually pretty packed.  I'm always willing to pay a little more to watch someone sign my item.  The personalization costs are what kill me though.  Those used to be free for the most part but someone caught on several years ago that they can charge for that too.

Its really really crazy if you ask me.  They charge for personalizing it.  You would thing they would want to do that so someone could not resell it.

Those prices they are charging are CRAZY....

Yeah, I think athletes are generally the only ones charging for inscriptions - and the cost is just absurd.  Unfortunately, many of them have such terrible looking autographs that the only way you feel like you're getting something decent is to spend more money and get more handwriting.
