Welcome to Ebay - Garbage forgery

Here's a nice case where doing a few more minutes of homework might have marginally helped your already lousy forgery.

Here's a clearly forged drumhead supposedly signed in-person by the band Garbage.

This is actually hilarious for a number of reasons:

*Here's my favorite one: Daniel Shulman was not even their touring bassist on the last tour (this was supposedly signed in May 2012). Eric Avery was. This guy didn't even bother looking that up before forging this.

*The band actually signs pretty consistently and plentifully, so spotting a fake is relatively easy. None of these autographs are even close and are decidedly signed by the same hand. The Manson is particular is based on a mid/late 90's signing style. Her signature never looks like that anymore and hasn't for years.

*"Don't even ASK how hard and what I had to do to get Butch Vig's signature." Probably not much. Butch is extremely accessible to fans, as is the rest of the band. Actually, since the seller is the one who signed it, I guess the only thing he had to do was pick up a sharpie.

*"But if you offer proof that its "Fake"....I'll fully refund your money...." I love when bad forgers dare you to prove their item is fake.

It would appear that these are this forger's first Ebay listings (he also has a Tori Amos signed guitar and Depeche Mode signed LP). Hopefully Ebay shuts him down before a naive fan gets burned.

I think you've said enough - at least to the point where any response by me is completely unnecessary. Your juvenile rhetoric is more than sufficiently conclusive. And your lie count continues to pile up, so I have no idea who you're trying to convince or impress at this point.

Oh, and I'm sure Shirley loves that you're claiming the autographs they sell at their merch store online are autopenned. They always appreciate it when people crap on the band's integrity like that.

So ebay seller "albanyny518" posts this Garbage forged drumhead back up for auction under a 3 day (quick sale) listing, probably hoping it will go unreported to eBay officials and hopefully sell during the Memorial holiday weekend.

I will concede that the poster is authentic (appeared to be so from the start) and is not a website release - which I should have known from the Avery sig.

Actually, no. You lied from top to bottom about the drumhead and are still standing by some random story about Stan Lynch, which is actually quite hilarious.
