Of the several George Jones signatures I obtained fron him in person over the years, I cannot remember him ever adding the "Thanks" sentiment to any of them. I will have to take a look to confirm though.

Like I was saying in earlier posts, I know what George's signature looks like. I've had many items signed by him from 2004-2013 both in person and from the bus after the shows I've attended. I think I made a big mistake on a recent eBay purchase though. I bought a picture that said it was signed by both George and Johnny Cash as well. The lady selling it had a cool back story on how it was obtained and I "bought it now" pretty quickly becuase I didn't want it to get away. She claimed it would pass PSA/DNA if i sent it. I'm thinking of sending it off and seeing what they say because it looks off to me. I'd appreciate it if anyone on here could let me know what they think in the meantime.
