Super clean signatures

I don't know why it seems so important to discredit someone who comes in looking to meet professional people who hopefully don't flame something they don't understand. It takes more than your copy of KISSTORY to compare signatures to, especially vintage signatures or more recently when they sign one of their high priced items like guitars or basses and the certificates that come with them. Then they usually sign with what I call their attempt at a proper cursive/vintage hybrid. Also, I have stood right next to Paul and Gene in relaxed atmospheres and they do not sign at 100MPH Paul has a very elegant signature and he signs it, Gene signs it, forgers draw it. Anyway, I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears since you seem so hellbent on discrediting me. But I have been researching & collecting KISS and basically only KISS for over 35 years, I've had tons of exposure to this band and quite frankly I know exactly what I'm talking about.  This is a nice example of "not for a fan" signatures on an Aucoin contract. It shows that the big loop at the end of "Stanley" actually started off as his "L" and eventually evolved to become his "Y". It gives a much better look at Ace and his "E" that everyone thought seemed to prove something, but meant nothing. And especially how he does his loops in "Frehley" again uncommon, yes, but still his. And you can even see how Peter will sometimes connect the "Pet" then separate the "er" and attempt a cursive uppercase "R". The full Gene, well that's just like all of the other samples I've provided:

Now way back when Paul was still Stanley Eisen he still used a variation of the uppercase "S" and "T" that many times is not connected to the rest of "Stanley" directly and even Ace's shows his tendency to use loops even as old as these are:

This is serious due diligence gentlemen and examples that you should seriously refer to if you ever come across vintage or the vintage/cursive hybrids that are out there, and they are there you just have to willing to wade through acres of bullsh@t to find them. As for the reunion photo, that was given to Joe Gangone who was the Sr. VP of Sponsorship Sales at Madison Square Garden. A personal Friend of mine. He also oversaw all swag tables and set-ups for any events at the Garden (you know, T-Shirts) anyway the Picture was presented to him by the band & Tim Rozner following their 4 night sold out run at the Garden July 25, 26, 27 & 28 1996. I have no idea why it was signed the way it was, but they chose to sign with their neater, contract style signatures. Furthermore, the picture was not given to me. It was sold to Frank Caraglio and I acquired it from his estate upon his death. Like I said guys while I won't go as far as calling myself a KISS expert, I am extremely well schooled on the subject and very proficient when It comes to their signatures. I know what I'm talking about when I'm talking KISS. My intent here was just to make some friends, talk KISS and maybe help when it came to questionable signatures concerning the original 4.....The Eric's, Bruce, Mark and Vinnie were not really my thing. I only have 1 Vinnie Signature

thumbs down on this photo...D

You are right that I didn't authenticate the signatures, I just think the photo is cool, I didn't even look at the signatures.  I will be more careful how I write on here.  I just love this photo because Ace looks so lost.

We need to talk because you need to see what I have. This stuff that I've shown is just a sampling.

joleree@gmail.com

and just have it out there, I didn't ask for their authentication. From anyone.

You looked at the photo and thought it was cool but didn't look at the autographs?  How is that possible?  It seems like you gave it the ok.

So what are your thoughts on the autographs on the photo Roger?  What do you see as problems with them if any with them..  Education is a great part of this site and it really helps the collector - like me.

thanks

Mark

I agree with John as well- all signed by the same hand.

I've posted more information than I ever should have concerning this photo. If you have seen enough KISS signatures its not so hard to tell that this is real its just not that common, I've given some more written info and some more visual info.....it takes more than whipping out your KISSTORY books folks. Anyway, I'm really way over this topic. If there are any KISS people here you may just want to recall all of the excellent vintage Genes I've posted here in case you come across anything in the future. The Double Platinum I've posted has an amazing vintage Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Gene Simmons. Of course I'm willing to help as well, provided the townsfolk haven't run me off with torches and pitchforks

Mine is identical to this one and was given to me by Doc Mcghee backstage in Shreveport  La......

Do you mean signed using these fuller more cursive style signatures?

John, if you put them together you wouldnt be able to tell the difference, I won the Roadie contest from the local radio station and was given to me in Nov of 1996 backstage at Hirsch Coliseum
