Fakes from Norwegian seller of forgeries Bent Madsen

Hi all

I need an opinion on this autograph on sale on a Norwegian auction by a Norwegian that I`m suspicious are selling a lot of fake autographs. Is this real or a fake? I am suspicious because it doesn't seem similar to other I've seen.

And now are all these forgeries removed from finn.no!! I must say that the customer-service at finn.no are great and they act really fast when you contact them.

I have also sent a mail to bent madsen/hardyboy40/guitarman78/vidar and teased him a little. Sorry, but I just can´t help myself... :-)

Recently this forger (hardyboy40/guitarman78/Vidar Scheen/Bent Madsen/Bent Sumelius) tried once again to sell his terrible fakes on Tradera. Now with a new alias, world-wrestler.

I reported him once again and within one day, he were banned once again!!

Now I have got him banned three times, and it feels gooood! :-)

The never ending norwegian forger tried to sell all the fakes on another site the latest couple of months. One example here: http://www.gibud.no/auction/APViewItem.asp?ID=498899 (He actually managed to sell the sig that started this thread, but for kr 100 , $17) I discovered his auctions yesterday, and today he is banned on this site too! Its a hard life for Scandinavian forgers these days.

I just want to summarize what we know about this forger, because it can be difficult to get a grip of all the things that have been written in this thread:

1. He has sold pathetic looking fake autographs of Michael Jackson, James Dean, Bob dylan, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Star Wars, Paul McCartney and many many more. He has also faked COA:s from UACC dealers and used different accounts to bid on his own auction. I have listed some examples of these fakes at the end of this post!

2. He comes from Oslo, Norway.

3. He has used these alias/"names":

- hardyboy40

- guitarman78

- world-wrestler

- wrestlemania

- Bent Madsen

- Bent Sumelius

- Vidar Scheen

4. He uses or has used these mailaddresses:

sumeliusbent@yahoo.no

hardyboy@inbox.as

5. Me and Trond have got him banned from:

- Tradera

- FINN.no

- QXL.no

- GiBud.no

and he has previously been banned from eBay too!

6. I tried to be reasonable and explain for him that the autographs he sells are fakes, but all he had to say about that were:

"I´m provoked when you say I sell fake autographs or making them at home. 99% of those I've included is with coa, the remaining 1%, I have written to the celebrity and asked for the autograph. You should be ashamed to make such false allegations"

so that were completly pointless. He just kept on selling these pathetic fakes. He even registered here at AML under a false name (Vidar Scheen) and tried to "convince" everyone that these fakes were actually genuine ones...

If someone else sees any item that you might think come from this forger, please send me or Trond Johansen a PM or reply in this thread!

Very good summarization Don! Yes, we will follow him on every move he makes. (Thank god for Googles picture-search..) He actually said he gets his sigs from mailing the artists? Wow, then he must have been the first ever to get that from Bruce Springsteen!! You must ask him how he managed that miracle? hehe Never seen him show a COA for the Springsteen`s, so I presume he must have "gotten them by mail".

I really love the COA he`s got there for the Jackson!! Wow, what a beauty!

Our "good friend" hardyboy, Bent Madsen, etc, has come out with yet another forgery. A Bruce Springsteen autograph, as bad as all the others he has tried to sell before.

In his last reply to me (everytime one of his fakes are being stopped, I'll mail and tease him a little) he still claimed that his items are good and that I should stop harass him. In an effort to be even more pathetic, he even said that it wasn´t him who listed the last bunch of forgeries, it were his mother... :-)

That guy is just the most pathetic I have ever heard of! He should just come out and admit that what he has are pure crap. Don't know if he makes them himself, or are buying from other forgers, but either way, he is doing something bad and illegal. How many times must you tell it to him, before it goes into his head??

Yesterday he came up with a Bruce Springsteen-signature that he insists he got in-person in 2008-09. I think it looks ridiculous, just like the others he has had on the net. What do you others think of this? If he insists that he got in in-person, and if its a clear forgery, it says all about his moral on autographs.
