Hi Dan thank for your reply yes I have read some other older threads and have further googled some of the people/business that are on the certificates which don't seem to exist.
Signing a pick guard with a signature whether it be fake or not then attaching it to a guitar does that make that a signed guitar from a band?
I would think that is misleading especially if as some have been advertised as being "signed guitars".
I would note that some are noted that it has been signed on the "pick guard" but obviously these are attached at a later time.
In person collector/sellers seem to think so. I suppose it's easier than lugging an actual guitar around. I personally think it's pretty stupid. I'd rather have the option to just purchase the pick guard at a much, much lower price than have to buy whatever crap guitar they slapped it on.
