Cassius Clay signatures if authentic are very sought after, and the price will reflect his. I have many Ali autographs from different years, but not a clay one! This doesn't look that bad to me, but will wait to hear from other Ali experts first!

Thanks Richard. I agree with you about desirability. I really hope to hear from Ali experts.  I think it is good, but I am no expert.

this looks nothing like any Cassius Clay signed items I have seen. and it looks too slowly drawn.  I do not believe this is authentic.

Thanks- it does look different than anything I've seen from 1960-64, but I thought maybe he was getting close to the edge and squished his writing a bit.

My gut reaction is no good. Unless I see a few more authentic  examples like this I say go with the gut.

the writing is old so that's a start and you only have to search for other cassius clay autographs to compare. is there a link to the auction? that would certainly help. wil look for you for other clay autographs

can't find any other clay's that match yours, is there a story behind the one you posted?
