Hi all! Steve suggested I start a discussion on this site. I'm a columnist for Yahoo entertainment news. We're doing a story based on a report that Sly Stallone charged more than $400 for photos with fans recently.

We're wondering if that's as spendy as these ops get, or if anyone out there might charge more.

We're also looking for some other examples of pricy celebrity photo ops of the moment.

Feel free to reply here, or if you'd rather talk privately: keppele @ mac.com.

Thanks for considering!

I think the photo ops with the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation at last May's Chicago Star Trek Convention ran close to $400 as well.

Was that for the whole cast, or individuals? Thanks!

The whole cast in one photo - Stewart, Frakes, Sirtis, McFadden, Dorn, Burton, Spiner.  I'm trying to verify that price, but the even was back in May.  If anything, I may have undershot it a bit.  It was expensive.

The most I've paid personally was $100 for Patrick Stewart at a Wizard World comic con in 2011.

Thanks very much.

Stan Lee is likewise charging $100 for a photo op at this weekend's Nashville Comic Con.

The $445 photo-opp price tag that Sylvester Stallone charged fans was totally ridiculous.

If you go to the wizard world (convention) website and click on their "photo-op" ticket section under each city, you'll see some of the common charged prices for their attending celebrities.

Thanks for all this!

Leslie - check out the facebook pages for some of the conventions, too. People often post prices as a heads up to other people attending. The Chiller Convention in NJ is next weekend and every year the prices go up and everyone is up in arms. The threads on facebook can be entertaining...

Dee Snider is charging $100 for photo op at Spooky Empire in Orlando, FL

I've seen where Gene Simmons charged $100 for an autograph and $100 for photo op at a convention in Kentucky this year. The photo op prices are outrageous for many of these. Conventions used to be you buy the autograph and get a picture with your camera. That is still the case for alot of them, but unfortunately not many of the big names anymore. Even most of their autograph prices are way above any market value.

I saw Dee at Rock & Shock in Worcester, MA earlier today - he was charging $10 for a photo ($30 autograph) at his table. I love Dee, but $100 is pretty steep for him. I wonder if he's wearing the Twisted Sister costume for the $100 photo op in Orlando.

$100!!!??!!!

Dee Snider??!!???

What celebrity is he taking the photo of for that price?

Would be nice to go up to him and say, "Sorry, Dee, for $100 we're not gonna take it."
