lol at that guy he uses to authenticate autographs, carries a briefcase..pulls out a magnifying glass and makes a 200k decision in about 2 minutes

Not sure if you've seen the episode, but he buys what he thinks is a Joe Jackson signed book for $10,000. It turns out to be fake after he sends it into PSA. Not sure if any of this is staged, but I know I wouldn't spend $10,000 without getting it checked out first haha.

My favorite is when "Big Hoss" buys a framed Napoleon letter with a real "wax" seal, and a "Certificate of Authenticity" for $2k without consulting anyone, only to find out he got ripped off purchasing a cheap art-gallery type repro of some famous battle declaration.

I knew this because my grandfather used to have the same repro hanging in his den for years; Watching Hoss buy it was like seeing a slow motion train wreck - you couldn't turn away.
