Here is a baseball that appears to be autographed by both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

I'm going against your "experts only" criterion here, but for such a wrecked ball to have such nice signatures seems odd to me.

I agree with Mike it does seem odd.  Could that be shellac though?  Yeah I went against the "experts only" too.

The guy admittedly makes and sells replica balls and suddenly puts up one that he's "unsure" of for a .99 opening bid? He doesn't think it's worth having an authenticator take a look at it before selling it? (Probably because he knows what the answer will be.)

And to top it all off, he doesn't know the difference between Lou Gehrig & Joe DiMaggio?

Personally, I would head for ze hills.
