I Need help from anyone!!!! I have a baseball that has a signature on it but im not sure whos it is. Heres some info....on the front of the ball it has a date that says 7-26-94 and on the side it has a description that says "15k's in 5 innings." Which means strike outs. One more thing under the signature it looks like there is a jersey number which i think it says "27". But i cant seem to find out who signed this ball. I recieved this ball from a thrift shop when i was looking for some new golf clubs. Please I need help!!!!

you are only showing the date of the ball in the photo.  also, I do not know of anyone in the majors that struck out 15 in 5 innings.

well nobody did on that date either...I think its really nothing just some writing on a baseball

could be minors.  what kind of ball is it signed on?

I did some searching too. but found nothing Will.  Would be cool to know just who signed this though.  It is probably not a Minor leaguer is my guess.   Since we cant find any records of this.

The Ron Necciai record is quite nefarious, though. His catcher made two mistakes (a passed ball and a dropped pop foul) that ensured Necciai would have a chance at 27 Ks in the game. The team had a groundout, but Necciai's catcher intentionally dropped the ball AND, in the ninth inning, he had a passed ball on a strikeout, which allowed Necciai an extra out (to offset the groundout) to try for 27 Ks. It's a nice bit of trivia, but realistically, he should have had 25 Ks, not 27.

Controversy...........good read.
