I bought this back in 2005 and it's been bugging me for years. I keep flip flopping over its authenticity. I'd love to know what you guys think, as just when I write it off I discover an authentic one that is very, very close.

Only last week I discovered this one from the personal collection of an authenticity expert Karl Schaffenberger and his 'Belushi' and the unusual twist in the 's' match mine almost identically.

and also this one from the PSA Autgraph Facts page, is very close as well.

I have a number of scans of contracts etc. signed by John Belushi over the years
and his signature varies wildly.
I obtained the autographed page (10cm x 12cm approx)
on Ebay  and yes I know there are a lot of fakes out there, but this one seemed so unusual that it might actually be genuine;  all the  signatures where signed in a in  red pen, not biro (as there are no major indentations where the pen signed the page). The paper is a cream coloured medium weight autograph book page.  If you look at it, the page even has a question mark after Gilda's name, as if the autograph hunter wasn't sure who she was.
I did a lot of research comparing the size of the signatures to other Belushi, Murray and Radner comparisons I could find, but I'm still unsure. They do seem to be the correct 'size' and the direction/ lean of the signatures are different to each other (suggesting they are done by different hands?) and the  Belushi is quite confident, and there are no breaks in the signature as such; the 'o' in John is a pretty complicated piece of handwriting, would a  'forger' go to this kind of trouble?
Also the addition of the other two autographs is a strange thing for a forger to do, you'd imagine a forger would include Dan Aykroyd instead of Radner and on a photograph instead of a slightly stained autograph page.

Now, I've been stung with a fake Belushi before, but generally they are a lot simpler than this one. I would really value any opinions, good or bad.

Great website, by the way, I'm a newbie!
