I would like to have a Tom Brady photo; shockingly there is not a tremendous amount for sale on ebay or other auction sites.  I know I can go to Tri Star and pay a hefty price for a photo.

My question is does Tom Brady have an exclusive signing deal with Tri Star or anyone else?

Does he have is own hologram?  Are there any known forgeries coming from a particular place or a particular style/coa to stay away from?

Any info to help me avoid the bad and look at the good would be helpful.

Thanks

Tyler

I've been collecting Brady for a few years now.   There is a consistency to the Tri-Star Brady's.  Once in a while, an authentic Brady does show up on Ebay that is not Tri-Star, and you can obtain it for a reasonable price. But even at that, expect to pay up to 200 dollars for an un-authenticated example.  I do not believe he has his own hologram, and I do believe he has or had an agreement with Tri-Star.  Mounted Memories also has decent Brady signatures.

I guess thats where I was going.  I rarely see a PSA or JSA Brady anything, and if I do its not the same sig as Tri Star.

and avoid any Brady's certed by GA or ACE.

Some problem I have with buying Rodgers - prices are absurd (more so for Brady obviously) when obtained from rock solid sources that were on-hand for his signings.  Like Rodgers, his signature is so simplistic that it's a prime target for forgers looking to make a buck off one of the biggest names in professional sports.  You'll see forgeries of every type out there, ranging from obvious to uncomfortably close.

I find Rogers even more difficult to authenticate. Brady appears to be simplistic but there are characteristics that are always present, if you get used to his authentic styles.  I am sure the same is true for Rogers, but I never really studied him.

Easier to spot the lesser forgeries, but theoretically, he's not that tough to mimic closely.  I had him add two inscriptions, just so I felt like I was getting some actual handwriting out of the thing.

That's why GA authenticates pretty much everything there is when it comes to Rodgers, no matter how questionable (or flat out bad) it looks.  My belief is that, basically, they assume that no one can prove them wrong.

here is an example of a seller trying to use the Tri-Star name to provide credibility to a very poor Brady forgery.

yet the title indicates "Global" authentication which I can fully understand.  They certify this kind of Brady forgery often.

I would be surprised if the Tri-Star sticker was on this item.

here is a very good price for an authentic Tri-Star Brady 8x10:

Im sorry but im not payong 300 bucks for an 8x10 of a living still actice player.
you will be able to get brady autos for 150 after he retires for a few years. Be as cheap as montana and rice.
Your call. But I doubt his signatures will go down in value.
Agreed with Terrior. I also believe he has one more Super Bowl run left in him. He threw up some stellar numbers with a less than stellar offense. His young defense keeps improving each year as well.

He has always been known as a very very bad signer. He rarely signs at training camp(where the most IP football autos come from). I have been to Pats training camp many times and have not once seen him even glance at the fan area.

Also, I have a non tristar/mm authentic Brady signed magazine received directly from his cousin, so not everything is tristar
