Hey guys what do you think of these gloves.
Here's my reservations - same sticker number on each glove (Uda don't do that)
COA is blank (never seen that)
Upper deck couldn't confirm authenticity on phone call
The autos are a bit suspect even before all the Uda issues in my opinion

Oh and also 3k price tag lol

Check Upper Deck Registry. I don't know what the website it but if they are authenticating items like this (and they do) then there has to be a registry.

That's what im saying - online it doesn't show up
When you call them and they look at their records there (not all is online) they say they cannot confirm the items
And they don't authenticate items like psa they only do in-person signings where they witness it

I see. Great observation. Well I would inbox the seller and get his story to see how bogus it is.

Maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but I though someone on the forum has mentioned that the UDA database had been wiped out at some point (this cert seems to be from 1996).  I'd have to check old threads to see if that's correct.

Interesting I've never heard that. Even back up?
I just heard that they have pre2002 items on a database only they can access which is why they say to call
What about the other issues?
Would Uda give the same sticker to 2 items?
Why couldn't they confirm on a phone call? Did you have to own the item? Did they refuse to tell you? Did they say it didn't exist? What do you mean "couldn't confirm"?
That's what they say when they have no records of it
Did you message the guy yet?
Yes. Said he got them from a sports memorabilia company
And that Uda don't have records for it
I can't find any other examples of Ali gloves with Uda
If he did indeed do a signing surely there would be other examples
