I am thinking that the signature of the "other" person is a celebrity who was seeing Elvis at same time this was signed in Vegas.  Just someone in the audience. Thus might have NO connection with Elvis what so ever..

This is signed on a Vegas Menu correct??

Mark

Yes thats probably true. Im not sure is it a menu. http://postimg.org/image/ly61bvwcx/ Here is the back of it.

Come on guys, read the posted question correctly, its obvious its not Elvis signature, and Aleksi knew that.

Yes, maybe is a signature of another celebrity. I try to focus on the signature.. Here is my work:

I think the first letter of the first name can be an "S" or maybe a capital "G". The last letter of the name may be an "s", an "o" or a "n". For example "Sean".

I think the surname starts with an "R" and maybe ends with a "e". Maybe the surname is "Rose" or "Rome".

I think the writer may be young (changes from cursive to block letters four times in few words, maybe doesn't have a stable way of writing) and is in a good period of his/her career (is writing vertically). So if this menu is signed in 1970 the writer can be a young singer/actor born in the 40's.

I tried to do a research in some actors and singers database but i can't find a match..

The research continues... :)

Thanks for your good work! The signing place is probably International Hotel and year 1970. The piece looks like a menu from that hotel. The seller had also another signed item (postcard) which has print : summer festival 1970 August 10-Sept 7. So the signer has probably visited that hotel during that period.

I have emailed several people so I hope someone can help.

Maybe I have to see that film, it could give some potential names.

What do you think about this? Is similar.. is from Sergio Leone, the director..

After visiting Elvis forum it was proposed strongly that it is Sammy Shore the comedian who opened for Elvis in Vegas. http://www.elvis2001.net/images/shoreautograph.jpg

Here is the only autograph that can be found on google and it looks like he could be the one. I emailed Mr.Shore that could he verify thats his signature but lets see.

The other autograph belongs to Sammy Shore. Finally got another example of his signature. http://postimg.org/image/o30yqlu85/

Yesss, 100% Sammy Shore!!

Congratulations Aleksi! Good Job! ;o)

Thanks :) and thank you for your help!
