Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

Sorry... I have no idea. If I recall correctly, the order form you printed from his site had an address and phone number and that was what I dialed. It was 14 years ago and I no longer have it.

Just checking.. :)

thanks

Mark

Something else you might find interesting--When I sent my first package to JLL for signatures, I sent a check for $40.00 as someone said they were successful sending $20.00 per. A week later or so I was excited to see my mailer returned and I tore into it. It reads something to the effect of "sorry, as of 1-1-14 signatures are $50.00 each" and it had a frowning face drawn. I was ticked I was out the $ and cost of packaging and shipping. Two weeks later I remailed with the $100.00. When it came back a week or so later there was a smiley face added along with my two signed pictures, inscribed as requested. I can post the photo if interested.

That's even worse!  Asking for more money for phony stuff (if indeed they are as we suspect).  I have to say this is one of the worst scams I have heard of in a long time.  JLL fans and rock fans have hopes of getting a legit signature from a true legend, and his wife is running a scam?  When you pay money directly to a celebrity you should be assured of getting the real deal.  Incidently, I heard when the website was offering 'real' signature years ago, it was his then current wife, Kerrie McCarver behind the idea in the web site's gift shop.  The web site was run and controlled by his current wife then.  When that marriage fell apart in 2004, the website was redesigned and relaunched without the offer of signed photos.

Thanks for the story.   Wish it was had a different ending..

Wow! That above post by N. Steiger should scare everyone! This kinda sucks.

Does anyone know who the third signature is on the back on my check (page 1)? It reads Jerry Lee Lewis, Judith Lewis and what looks like Janet Spichelsky.

What do you guys think on posting on the official Jerry Lee Lewis Facebook page??

Mark

i personally think it would be a good idea to make sure others don't get screwed out of there money i just sent an item right before the sec news came out and if they take my money for a sec sig i see no problem in making sure his fanbase knows the scam there running

This was signed in person about 3 weeks ago. I'll let you guy make the call on the TTM compared to this one.

Now that's funny, Jason! Jerry Lewis's autograph kinda resembles the JLL version we think is signed by Jerry Lee Lewis's wife.

Or maybe Jerry Lewis is signing Jerry Lee Lewis's autograph?

Oh Jeez I feel like an idiot now. LOL. I guess I had a brain fart, sorry about that.
