Doesn't match what I have at all!

I'm a huge Ripken and McGwire collector and I'm very good at spotting fakes. The Ripken pic is bogus. The "R" is way off. The ball also is fake.

Great Big Mac ! Will you inform us or demonstrate key area's to focus on to determine a real and fake? We would like to learn Cal's graph.

Well, I've been collecting his signed baseballs for 20 yrs. His signature has changed over the years. Full signature from 1982-1996. Then after 1996-97, he started to abbreviate Ripken to "Ri". Nowadays, his autograph is sloppy. Before, while he was still playing, it was a nice TIGHT signature.

Characteristics I look for is the "C" and the "R". Nice and smooth. The flow of the "J" too. It's hard to explain but I'm so use to seeing it over and over and over. Like I said, 20 years of following and having numerous signatures of his in my collection.

Opinions please?

Fake. Horrible. You bought this?

No, I was looking at it. I'm not familar with cal yet. I like his older signature better than the recent style. I wont purchase an autograph until I feel comfortable with making a opinion on its authenticity.

Phew. If I see one on eBay, I will include the link here for you.
This photo below, Ray Tanner, is legit. A very nice vintage auto too.

Thanks Big Mac! That is a very nice Sig, can see the flow of the Autograph much easier than other examples I've seen. This one is a bit pricey but I may be able to negotiate a fair price via Best offer option on the listing.

Lets see what I've learned....These are Authentic?

ALL are authentic. First one is from 2000-2005. Second is from I'd say 1983-1986, so the mid 80's. Third sig, my favorite Cal Ripken signature era, is from 1991-1994. Such a nice, beautiful FULL signature. Check out the 1992 Donruss Signature Series card.
Then when he was approaching Gehrig' record in 1995 and after he broke it, he signed soooo much that he started to abbreviate his signature the rest of his career until now.
