Hi, I'm new here, and just got bombed today.  I had sent my autographed Derrick Thomas jersey to PAAS to be authenticated, but found out today that they say it's not authentic.  I didn't have it signed.  I bought it on ebay about 10 years ago.  The story was it was signed for someone and they donated it to be sold in auction with proceeds going to a non-emergency medical transport.  I only spent as much as the jersey was worth at the time, without an autograph, so I wasn't really out any money.  Well, being naive, I had it mounted and framed before I had a COA done, and it's set in the frame for about 8 years.  I recently had it removed from the frame, so I could send it off and get it authenticated.  Much to my displeasure, it was rejected.

Here's my questions:  1) how reputable are PAAS?  2) should I get a 2nd (or 3rd) opinion?  

I'm no expert, but I've looked at hundreds of Derrick's signatures online, and mine really looked very much the same.  

So....what would you do?
