Muhammad Ali BOGUS "Used Jumprope"
There is a person out there who is doing their best to sell a "used" jump rope by Muhammad Ali. Let me give you all some background. It was on Ebay about 2 years ago and sold for around $100. It has a COA from Elite Sports Marketing and Angelo Dundee. Even though around 2008 Dundee had a deal with Elite Sports Marketing,you should Google them.Their complaints are eye opening and out of business.The person who has them know is trying to sell them for around 3K. He had them on Ebay not long ago for about 5K.The kicker here is this.This Tuf Wear Jump Rope was bought and being sold by him with no tape at all on the handles. I pointed out to him that from my understanding ,Ali used tape on his jump rope handles (which can be debateable). Now the jump rope has reappeared on craigslist by the same owner , WITH white and yellow tape on the handles.I know some of you might say well it's craigslist but he has given me the indication ,he will use any site possible to sell these.The best way IMO here,is to pass the word about this jump rope or any other "used" item by Ali. One must do their homework. This guy is trying to Rip someone off, Don't let it be you !!!

William , Good points you bring up. I too thought Ali used mainly taped handled jump ropes but as you say you can find him also holding untaped ones.
One thing I know for sure there is a guy named "Al " out there trying to "Steal" peoples money with his Bogus jump rope.

The seller told me his son took the tape off by accident so he simply put it back on - that's clearly a lie as you can see in the pics that the tape has never had a hand around it. The pics show some parts still haven't adhered to the handle meaning he just put it on.
He's trying to scam someone

Carlos, Months ago he told me ,even thou there was no tape on the handles ,it appeared at once there was.There was at that time no mention about a son. Now after that fact being brought to his attention about taped handles, Whamo, tape on the handles has appeared and a story about his son. You know when there is different stories about the same item, in what that means.
