John Wayne signed postcard found - need advice please

Today I was going through some papers belonging to my Dad who passed away and I came across a postcard that John Wayne had sent to John Ford, the director.  It is addressed to John Ford and John Wayne had a personal message for him on it.  Do you think this would have any value and how would I get this appraised for a value ?

I can't read the date stamp on the postcard, but from what i can guess...it was sent from Libya and John Wayne was there filming a movie in 1957.

Yes, at a guess, I would think it would be around $800 to $1000, esp with the link to John Ford, could be more, also I like the stamp date, that really do's give it some support, in regard to its authenticity. A really nice item, try selling it on this site, if not, RRauctions, it seems, the Duke do's very well with them, Good Luck Babs
