How is this company still around? Several of these authenticators do not have websites or come with letters of authenticity.

I would like to know how are people even know about them if they dont run any digital marketing.

As mentioned in other threads, Coach's Corner is one of the more notorious names in this hobby.  Fans and collectors - as well as many people simply utilizing common sense - have identified their inventory as laughable.  There are many types of dealers out there.  Some are most assuredly a safe bet.  Some are generally good but make mistakes on occasion.  Some are a real mixed bag, usually based on a combination of incompetence and indifference.  Some are so bad they shouldn't be in the hobby at all.  Then, at the lowest level of hell, you have Coach's Corner - a company whose sole purpose is to make money on the sale of WHATEVER, regardless of authenticity.  Finding authentic items on that site is like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes.

As to why they haven't been shut down, that's a question we've all found ourselves asking.  For those outside of the hobby, hearing something is fake vs. authentic makes them shrug.  Without any knowledge of their own to go on, it's hard to make an assessment.  Still, this outfit is so incredibly bad, that you'd think that some law enforcement agency would have taken action by now.

coach's Corner are the Nazi's of the autograph industry. Even Operation Bullpen & Operation Foul Ball combined cannot compete with amount of forgery's that have infected the hobby put out by that scum-sucker Lee Trythall. They work closely together with forgery rings that produce thousands of fake autographs every month. In doing so, they spit in the face of not only real autograph collectors by devaluing their authentic pieces, but to every family member they sell fakes off. From the families of Babe Ruth to George Washington to even Mother Teresa (I'm not kidding)....all of them have been disrespected in the most ignorant way by the SOB's of Coach's Corner!

Meanwhile the fraud department at the FBI, has decided to sit back and watch this blatant BS for 20 years while ignoring hundreds, if not thousands of complaints from people being scammed. They have chosen to spend tax dollars focusing in on a guy who sold a jersey from his website as game worn, that was later deemed game issued. They conducted a full investigation against this individual and arrested him in plain sight at The National, just so that all the collectors could see they are fighting against forgeries.

That's great insight. I wonder if there are a lot of forgery rings out there trying to rip people off. If there are, then that's plain awful. I know people who over the years have bought items in the secondary market with bad provenance. sucks.

Do any of you guys use Heritage Auctions? Who do you guys like

Of course, there are many forgery rings! Most of the autograph items in the market place are forgeries. Ebay is a huge component of these forgery rings and makes the forgers & ebay tens of millions each year! Look at some of the auction sites out there that have been called out on this site here. All of them are started up and run by forgery rings that produce Fake autographs. All of those websites should have been taken down and the SOB's behind them in jail a long time ago.

Also, all the bogus authenticating companies (GA, GFA, STAT ect) should have been taken down too. All of them work with the forgery rings as well. They are all ONE TEAM!! Why can't the FBI team up and do their job? It wouldn't even take much effort. Some of the members here on Autograph Magazine Live have done all the work and investigating for them, for free!
