I bought this 1965 Sandie Shaw album from Syd Barrett's nephew. The record belonged to Syd (AKA Roger) in the mid-sixties and at some point he had given it to his sister which is how his nephew came to be selling it.
The exciting thing about it is the way Syd had personalized the album on the rear sleeve; signing his then name Roger Barrett. This is a legitimate example of the Pink Floyd founder's signature with incredible provenance and it comes on a unique piece of personal memorabilia too. Is there anybody out there who knows of another example like this relating to Syd Barrett pre-Pink Floyd in the 1960s?
I think ultimately it should end up in the hands of a serious Pink Floyd autograph collector but I just wanted to share on here first.
