Sending to them for authentication?  Aren't they affiliated with Mounted Memories?

My impression of those stores is that the modern sports items are generally fine, as they come primarily from Mounted Memories.  From what I understand, they get pretty spotty on vintage items.  From what I've seen, they're absolute trash with non-sport celebrity autographs.

They're hit or miss from what I hear.

The photo is spot on. Authentic. Where's your basketball? They actually have done a ton of in-store signings over the years - including the most dominating basketball player of all-time, Wilt Chamberlain. I actually have a FOD Wilt signed official game ball. It's good. There was a beautiful one that recently sold on eBay for $500. That was a steal. Here is a pic of it. ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC!

Yours is AUTHENTIC! No question. As a side note, I met Wilt twice. First time was on January 17, 1998, when he made his return to the University of Kansas (KU) after about a 40 year absence. He said that he hadn't returned earlier because when his KU team lost to UNC by 1 point in triple OT in 1957 in the NCAA TITLE GAME, he said he felt he had let Jayhawk nation down. We all started yelling "No, No!" We gave him an enormous amount of love as they retired his jersey. He said, "Sometimes in life, you have to take the bitter with the sweet, and how sweet this is!" We cheered like you wouldn't believe. He later said it was the happiest day of his life, and he even cried!

After the game, Wilt stayed and signed autographs until everyone who wanted one got one. He signed a coffee table book for me, which I still have. When I got up to the table to meet him, I said, "Welcome home, Mr. Chamberlain!" He looked up at me, smiled, and said, "Thank you. It's great to be home."

Second time I met him at a sports show in Kansas just four months before he died in October, 1999, and got my picture taken with him. That was awesome, and he was so kind and friendly both times.
Your story makes me like him even more!!!

Very happy I didn't get taken when purchasing this ball, thanks for all your help
You're welcome. Another thing to make you like him even more, and you may already know this, Wilt holds the NBA record for records! That's right, Wilt holds more NBA records than any player in history. And his dominance wasn't just because of height. Wilt was 7'1". Several teams had guys close to Wilt's height; he was just athletic and talented and strong. If it was just about height, Shawn Bradley at 7'6", who towered over most players when he played, would have been the greatest of all-time. But you what? He wasn't even very good really.
