Take the time to study autographs. This is the problem with the hobby. People buying and selling autographs with ZERO knowledge.

Your two Mantle forgeries are poorly-executed and ugly forgeries.

We are sick and tired of this garbage and that's we expose sellers of forgeries.

If you're truly interested in learning about autographs, then take the time to study every day and check in on this website as often as you can.

Actually looking at this closer. Did Drew put a torn sticker on the photo? This is also the first time I recall seeing an AAU COA where Drew failed to sign it and proudly taking credit for the poor job he performed..

Chris Williams would not be lying when he tells you these Mantle's are poorly executed forgeries. It seems like fun at first, but after you realize that 90% of the Mantle's for sale are forgeries, it ain't so fun. LOL it should be a clearer picture for you now.

Fudd's degree is in psychology, but when I realized I'd have to listen to everyone else's f'ed up problems, I decided to go into my own business. I respect what you have done and welcome to retirement, something I won't see.

So, as an arm chair Psychologist, I think your assessment is off about Chris Williams? It's called passion and he has it in spades. Sorry if the board is abrasive sometimes. I can be the worst of the worst. But the facts are facts. Terrible forgeries.

If you want to save on the Mantle Authentication fees, post the item here and you'll get it done by real collectors for free. It really is easy to spot these after a few hours of study. This might help you. Good Luck

Thanks for the advice. This is what I am looking for, is an opinion, not like arguing with one of my ex-wives. I have taken in consideration what is being said, weighing my options, and awaiting another $10.00 opinion from PSA. If all weighs out against this reputable dealer who sold me this ball, I will humbly remove this item. In my old age , sometimes I am haste in giving my own opinion when being blasted, and was actually looking for more professional attitudes. I must practice what I preach in the future and hope to gain the knowledge I seek and avoid the petty arguments.

Nice one Fudd. I got a Masters in Psychology and the first thing I was taught was that you cannot judge a book by its cover or make snap judgements so this does not bode well for your skills. Chris is the best there is at exposing this stuff so ask for help and you can buy some real ones
