LP's are my absolute favorite to get signed. This did prompt a question, though. What pen is best for LP's? I am asking in terms of reliability, contrast and drying time. I also realize it depends on the color and surface finish. On the older style records with no special finish, any sharpie seems to do, but on some of the glossier finished records, pens are hit and miss. I recently saw a Prismacolor silver do really well on a glossy album. I've also seen pens streak, or even bubble in the signature path because it didn't stick to the surface. Thoughts? Cheers!

Paint pens can come out well on glossy album covers/booklets.
Black sharpies are known to carry a pigment that will slowly turn a red colour when in sunlight. This is because it does not stop the light from passing through. Blue sharpies are known to be the better of the two.
This silver sharpies are quite hit and miss, as they tend to dry up if the tip is kept upright or in cold temperatures.
