An Ebay wannabe autograph collector (and sucker) paid $217.51 for this putrid-looking Mickey Mantle forgery.

Ebay continues to profit from the sales of forgeries like the below Mickey Mantle forgery sold by Ebay seller Paulweaver10.

Ebay sellers of forgeries know that Ebay is the place to list and sell their forgeries, because that's where the wannabe autograph collectors purchase their forgeries.

This is a typical ugly Mickey Mantle forgery that can be found on Ebay and it was sold by Ebay seller Paulweaver10.

Ebay continues to profit from the sales of forgeries as they have for the past twenty years.

Why would anyone bid on this POS Mickey Mantle forgery with all of the beautiful and authentic Mickey Mantle autographed baseballs that are on Ebay.

The worthless COA is from Irvine Sportscards & Memorabilia.

Hi Chris this is Paul Weaver 10 from eBay. As I stated in my ad "i know nothing about sports"... it would've been cool if you had messaged me and gave me your input prior to the sell so I could've retracted the listing until I looked further into it and paid for a new certification. I don't know who you are or what makes you the autograph expert, maybe you spend a lot of time in your mother's basement searching around on the internet all day??? I DON'T KNOW... but none the less you know more then I do about sports memorabilia. My advice to you would be to confront a person next time before you criticize them of being a scammer and selling forged merchandise.
I got this from my uncle who is now deceased and as you can tell by looking at my selling history I clearly don't make a living by selling on eBay! The way you come across in your little speech here is very rude and not to mention it makes me look bad for selling what may or may not be a forged item and the buyer look like an idiot for purchasing something you believe to be false. I'm glad someone sent me this page so I could tell you how arrogant you look!

Anyone keeping a running tally of the "mother's basement" insult?

Yeah right. He has no clue who Chris is but knows the mom's basement BS?

Chris reeled in another shady EBAY seller. Nice job Chris.

"I don't know who you are or what makes you the autograph expert, maybe you spend a lot of time in your mother's basement searching around on the internet all day???:

Lol this has become a staple in in Chris Williams posts exposing forgery sellers..I cant count how many times ive read this on both hands plus Jose Canseco's hand on how often we read this from Forgery sellers!!Outrageous!!!I think one of them wrote a book and used that as a guideline to discredit an expert in the field!!

Tony, you must be referring to Canseco's hand last week

You sold a forgery. You should look bad.

Paul, why would your uncle give you a Mantle forgery when he obviously know you "know nothing about sports" and therefore would have no interest?

Mr. Weaver, for years I tried to inform sellers of the forgeries they were selling and all I would get is "Mind your business," or, "It's got a COA, I know it's authentic," etc.

Finally, after years of trying to inform Ebay sellers of the crap they were selling, I gave up.

Now I simply expose Ebay sellers of forgeries.

As a collector, I am sick and tired of forgeries infecting our hobby.

Ebay has literally profited millions from the sales of forgeries for the last twenty years.

As for the "Mantle" you sold for $217.51, it is a no-brainer forgery.

Paul I am far from a Mantle expert, Chris Williams is and has done this for years to expose those who forge and profit from forgeries.

Even an amateur can see how shaky this "signature" is, slowly drawn and awful. Rather than insult, learn something, refund the buyer and stop selling if you know nothing about something or you will contiinue to see your name and account on this site.

As usual, great work Chris!
