Jerry Lee Lewis New Book and Signing?
has anybody got information about what bookstores jerry is attending to sign his new book ? I say sign as I have seen at the barnes &noble store in new York while he will be in attendance the books will be pre signed and only the auther will be signing !! does that set any alarm bells off
at this moment this is the only signing he will be attending does anyone know of any others as would really like to add him to my book collection and being based in uk I have to get in touch with the stores in usa !!

From my unprofessional eye, the J looks different (doesnt cross like most Ive seen), the y looks different(straight down), and the Ls have no loops at all on the top, so I'd say yes. What do you think? And others?

Take a look at the "L" in "Lewis" in the "Great Balls of Fire" signature on the previous page. No loop on the top. Is the shape of the "J" closer?

I'm no professional either, but these look like they were signed by different hands. Also, the Great Balls of Fire looks like the books that Roger has already identified as being signed by Jerry Lee's assistant James Whitten. Unless the Great Balls of Fire one is an IP signed in someone's presence and not taken backstage or to his room, it proves that someone else is doing the signing.

Look where he dotted his "i" on the books and then on the ones deemed authentic. Now I'm sure you can find some that are dotted in other places but the trend is that he normally dots them at the end of "Lewis". The books all appear to be dotted next to the "L". Jerry being a "quirky" signer as you said then why would all of the books be consistently signed in an atypical style signature? Why are they the norm and not exception?

We’ve only seen a small percentage of the signed books. While most of the dots are indeed close to the “L”, I’m also seeing some that are spaced farther away. Also, as with his previous signatures, the size and direction of the dot varies. Some are small and some are elongated. Some are vertical and some are horizontal.

What is the story with the Great Balls of Fire photo? How was it obtained?

Sorry, I don't have any info on how it was obtained. It also has a Dennis Quaid signature.

Here is another sample of the signed book. I think this is the least formed signature I have seen in the book. L in Lee and Lewis shows no loop at the bottom of the letter formation. Whoever each of us thinks signed each of these, it seems obvious the signer was tiring and putting less in to the signatures as they went.

For what it's worth, this appears to be one of the pre-signed books from his supposed Memphis appearance last Friday 11-07-14. I say supposed because he cancelled at the last minute due to illness. This appearance was to be with Rick Bragg, and a short concert to follow. To get a signed book was an additional $100 over the ticket price, which started at $32 & went up from there. This is from an ebay seller in the Memphis area:
