Hi

I realize this is a long shot, but I am wanting to have items in my collection authenticated/valued (authenticated more desirably), preferably for free (which I know is pushing things).

The issue is I have SO many autographs in my collection that I need to find out if they are authentic or not as I am looking to eventually downsize my collection whilst the signatures are still in pristine condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

Thanks

Robin

If you want to go through, take pictures and post them here there are a lot of very knowledgable people that can give you opinions on authenticity. If you are looking to get them authenticated to increase resale value, you will have to pay, and depending on how many pieces you have it can be quite expensive.

Thank you Mike T. I think I will post on here for authenticity, but that might be a lot of posts, can I condense it down to just one, super long post? Can anyone help in this area as I am really keen to get my collection authenticated. I am already aware that some items I got in this collection are non-authentic. However, I do need an assessment as I am looking to downsize my collection, sooner rather than later, whilst the signatures are still looking fresh. Cheers. Robin :)

I would make them separate posts as different people have different expertise in different areas. You could probably bundle all the Star Wars autographs together for instance, but I wouldn't put historical and sports together.

If you're going to be seeking 2x market prices like on the Harrison ford, I would recommend sending everything to an auction house, they will be the only way to get close to those numbers. You will have a very tough time piecing it out one by one that way. Good luck!

Hey Mike

What good ideas! Many thanks!

Best

Robin
