Very tough last couple times I've tried. I didn't see him sign for anyone.

what does he say/do?

Didn't say anything or even look in our direction. Just walked past very fast and never got close to anyone.

He used to be really great until about 5 yrs ago.  I dont know what happened (Ebay?)   I heard he even turned down a little old lady recently in NYC.    As Rick says, he totally ignores everyone now.  A total change.

And they are out of stock!  Well there is your reason for the turnaround of signing IP.

Sorry about that Steve. I didn't even click on them to see if they were available.

Hey no need for an apology.  At least we got to the bottom of why he stopped signing IP.  A good deed was done!!

The poster was available on the website in the last 2 months or so (I've been checking). But, I haven't seen the LPs in stock in a while.

I hear ya.. I keep watching his site.  I got him in person back during the Blue Moon Swamp tour in the 90's.  He was really nice and even signed my friends guitar.  :)  But that was a while ago.

Mark

Anyone go to one of his recent book signings...

Went to see him at Bookends in NJ. He was in good spirits, had his wife and kids with him. I asked him about Creedence at Shea Stadium concert in 1970, my first rock show. He remembered it, talked about exchanging smiles with Janis Joplin on his way to the stage. Signed four books for me. But I didn't bring any memorabilia, it just doesn't happen there.
