Ebay Removed My Mickey Mantle Authentic, No-Brainer Autographed Baseball.

Yes guys, Ebay has done it to me again.

Ebay has once again removed an auction of mine that contained an authentic autographed baseball from Mickey Mantle.

First, just below, my authentic Mickey Mantle autographed baseball that Ebay removed two day ago.

As you can see, it is a no-brainer, authentic Mickey Mantle autograph on a baseball.

Below is the Message Of Removal that I received from a moron representative from Ebay.

After reviewing your eBay account, we've taken the following action:
- Listings have been removed. A list of items that were removed can be viewed at the bottom of this message.
- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s).

The listing that was removed appeared to violate eBay policy or a rights owner's trademark. Please remember that you are responsible for the quality and authenticity of the products that you offer on eBay. It is against eBay policy to list any counterfeit items.

For more information please see our Replica, counterfeit items, and unauthorized copies policy:

In my opinion, EBay is attacking me for my exposing of forgeries on their auction site.

In my opinion, Ebay does not like me exposing the sellers of forgeries that contribute to their salaries and bonuses.

Am I interfering with their profit machine from the sales of forgeries?

Of course I'm not; the sellers of forgeries have been running amok selling forgeries for years on Ebay.

Following "Operation Bullpen" Ebay was NOT held accountable for the millions of dollars of forgeries that were sold on the Ebay auction site.

Is Ebay now condoning the listing and selling of forgeries on their auction site?

This is the third time Ebay has removed an auction of mine that contained an authentic autograph.

While Ebay continues to remove my authentic autograph auctions, they allow and approve the listings and selling of GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators) headed by Steve Rocchi.

I have exposed numerous sellers of GFA certed forgeries, and as far as I know, Ebay has never removed a GFA certed forgery listing.

There is too much money and profits to be made from the sales of GFA certed forgeries.

Sellers of GFA certed forgeries include Ebay sellers Mccauleyjr2006, Roma-Jak, Dbvint123, Stevew6, Rbisportsinc and others.

The "Florida" forgeries are also a big seller on Ebay.

Ebay does not remove the "Florida" forgeries.

Again, there is too much money to be made from the sales of the "Florida" forgeries.

This Monday I will be sending my authentic Mickey Mantle autographed baseball to PSA.

When it comes back, I will have more to add to this thread.

Sherlock Holmes award now is in Fudd's hands!

Happy to get rid of it, the damn thing weigjhs a ton. Pretty hard lugging it around :).

To be honest, the best thing to do, wherever possible, is to provide absolutest proof that the autograph in genuine (as is the case above). Best way would probably be video proof - a photo alone sometimes isn't enough.

Therefore, I don't know, but if EBAY had an upload video option to prove that the artist signed the material in question, then how can EBAY disprove it? Obviously your item is genuine, so EBAY have done themselves no favours here.

I pride myself in the hobby and hate forgeries and people who discredit a good activity! Maybe the forgers did complain, as explained, to discredit you and to assume a stranglehold on the overall community to try and fool people once more. I think, given time, that the forgers will lose for the very reason that people will become fed up of purchasing forgeries and then revert to going back and getting autographs IP, which is much more fun, anyhow.

I cant score Mickey Mantle, or Rogers Hornsby IP.  So for the autograph geek into dead people like myself.  The thrill is owning a piece of history.

Christopher has had PACK PULLED items (official autographed cards directly out of an Upper Deck/Topps pack etc.) removed from eBay before...

I too have had several items removed from eBay for no apparent reason. It is most likely angry forgery sellers whom we have messaged on eBay/called out that target us by reporting our items TONS of times. They probably report it under different "categories" such as trademark violation, illegal item, etc. Perhaps eBay pays more attention to reports filed under different categories.

Also to the jackass in the previous pages, you can most definitely sell an autograph on eBay without a COA from the "top three". LOL. Sheesh, Idk what holes these goons crawl out of.

Who is GFA? And why are there so many copies being certified? Looks like lithographic prints they are certifying all over the internet. Does At Auction own GFA? Sorry to see that eBay removed your baseball Christopher are you taking ebay to the woodshed over this? Why/how could they do this?

because Fee Bay is a sham of a company. That's how. I have done everything I can, not to buy a thing from them. I CERTAINLY have stopped purchasing autographs, though some household items sneak through now and again. Still, I will NOT spend to the levels that I used to spend with them.

There's a good reason why 7,000 employees at scam bay have lost their jobs. Sales are down!!!!!!!!!!!!!

even when they try to prop them up by supporting and selling BLATENT forgery after forgery. Including all those FAKE GFA. I wouldn't wipe my Greasy FAT A** with those certificates. Nothing legitimate has ever included GFA cert. NOTHING. It's just another rubber stamp scam attempt.

Fudd - Amazon usually beats fee bay prices on household items :):).

No AtAuction does not own GFA. Looks like they have an exclusive arrangement though.

GFA authenticator is Stephen Rocchi.......former President of PSA and one of the founders of PSA/DNA. Also founded Global Authentication Company.

AtAuction dug this relic out the gutter and gave the crook another job.

Steve is not the authenticator. He is the owner of the company and he has others doing the authenticating.

The auction folks his company authenticates for claim he is the authenticator. When you call them and ask who authenticates the stuff. The answer is Stephen Rocchi. So as far as I'm concerned he is. I've never called and asked him. I'm not pals with the guy.

In any case it doesn't seem anybody is an authenticator over there. Any knucklehead can add a sticker and tick a card with something.

Rick - when they first opened he had several forensic guys on his website, stating they were the authenticators. Due to the fact I never wanted to see the website again I have not seen it since they first opened, so perhaps something has happened since the opening.

Whether or not he is knowledgeable about autographs I do not know.
