My all time favourite artist is John, iv'e always been a massive Beatles fan since I picked up my dads please please me album and started playing it, I was about ten years old in 1975.

Lennon was always my favourite!! I even love his art! I came to the conclusion that buying one of his Bag one lithos was the safest option as they don't seem to be copied because of size or am I wrong?

What sort of money do I need and were the best place to buy? If the price was right i'd love a full Beatles set again how much do they normally go for.

This is a great forum with some great discussions cheers

Hi Chris.
Since you in the UK there's Beatles world who's a member here.Tracks uk Are reputable dealers. There's a number of dealers in the states Frank can also, Perry Cox, Roger Epperson, Gary murtha. Your probably going to need 3500 thousand up for a Lennon he doesn't come cheap and a Beatles set would be around 8 up.
You can post what you want to buy here to get opinions.

Paul cheers for the quick reply, I've got the odd penny to spend these days lol although being from Yorkshire I like to spend it wisely!! I'ts been an all time dream to own a Lennon/Beatles set and thankfully iv'e found this site to try and help. Again thanks.

There's some great sets that turn up from the dealers i mentioned.

Paul no probs, you snooze you loose as they say! i'm in no hurry and im at the beginning of doing some research. Good luck with them if you decide to go ahead.

Chris

Yeah, tracks is great. I got mine at auction last year. They have a store and run an auction each year. I paid about $2400 for mine. It was a Lennon clipped signature with excellent provenance.

I've been collecting Beatles autographs and memorabilia for 30 years...most of my autographs and handwritten items come from Frank Caiazzo and TRACKS in the UK...you can't go wrong with either of them.

Anyone bought from or know Ian Wallace, I think he runs the Beatles shop and still organises the annual auction.

I used to do some business with his son, I might give him a call for some advice.

Again great site!

No I'm not buying I just wanted to look at the autographs. I already own a few.

ok thanks Paul, have a good day!
