Yasiel Puig Autograph Authentic Exemplars

Ever since this rookie phenom broke into the league his autographs/cards have been a hot product. As of now I am the only person I know of who has studied Puig's autograph extensively around here so I felt the need to share some exemplars. I have exposed tons of Puig forgeries on this site, and will continue to do so. PSA/DNA listed Puig in their "Top 10 Most Forged Autographs" of 2013. IMHO about 15%-20% of Puig "autographs" on eBay at any given time are truly authentic.

In order to help, I am sharing some authentic exemplars, as well as some forgeries to help train your eyes.

*NOTE: Towards the end of his rookie season, Puig started signing the side-panel WAY MORE often than the sweet spot. (Forgers have taken note of this as well)

Now I will share some FORGERY examples. Please note, I have seen forgeries certified by PSA/DNA as well as JSA. With Puig being such a new superstar, even the big authenticators are going to make their mistakes so be very careful. There are TONS of forgeries certified by Global Authentics. 

I will try and keep this updated as much as I can. Be very careful when purchasing a Yasiel Puig autograph. Remember, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is." Also remember that a "COA" is just a piece of paper, and any seller not mentioning the COA is probably a scammer.

Epic day for you Tony! Congrats, you da man! Very nice of Mr. Puig to sign that sweetspot for the Marine. Nice gesture for sure.

Finally got to get him on the Sweetspot.Notice he is now not putting 66 as he did a while back and has been rushing.Also with the Jacket he is been doing a sort of a angle so its Sweetpanelished.But this is the 4th one this spring finally got one in the Location I wanted.

Here is an authentic Yasiel Puig signature from Spring Training 2015, signed for my pal right in front of me before the National Anthem. (Puig signed down the line and of course signed to the left of me, and the right of me and totally skipped me...)

Here is a set of Kershaw/Puig forgeries on a helmet listed by eBay seller trpcthndr which of course is accompanied by a "Global Authentics" COA. Every single day there are endless amounts of Puig/Kershaw forgeries "certified" by GA showing up on eBay on every single item imaginable. (Bat, ball, glove, pictures, dual signed, single signed, does not matter)

Common forgery style on a counterfeit jersey listed by eBay seller cindy8610 , of course this is "certified" by Global Authentics

$150 shipped for a signed Puig jersey? Yeah right. Common GA forgery style, and and AUTHENTIC jersey alone costs $200 place.

Every single time I search for new Yasiel Puig autographs on eBay, there are more Global Authentics "certified" forgeries at the top of the list. Every single time. Here is yet ANOTHER forgery style that GA rubber stamps, this listed by eBay seller 61in1961

There is ZERO chance these are even being looked at by someone with ANY knowledge of autographs.
