Beatles sept 63 signed "the Beatles show" tour program.

Just won this piece on heritage auctions today.it is in mint condition and I believe the sigs are good enough to be graded.maybe mint 9 .it only comes with a heritage auction coa.im thinking of getting tracks to provide another coa.this is definitly the nicest set I own at this point.it cost me an arm and a leg.the more coas I can obtain the better.thats my thinking anyway.Any thoughts or advise would definitly appreciated.

Just got off the phone with heritage.they are not affiliated with any other authenticator.no psa no Jsa no Caiazzo no tracks no Epperson no perry cox.
I'm on my own to get other coas.he did say to me that their coa is more than substantial to be the lone coa for the piece.i agree,and the piece does speak for itself.unfontunatly in 20 years from now when I go to sell it.it would be a better sell if I have a tracks and or a psa or cox with it.thats what the buying public wants.im not upset or anything.its just that after paying that kind of cash for a piece,now I have to still pursue some coas.no biggie

Did they at least tell you who their authenticator is?

For sports, they most definitely use PSA/DNA as I have bought items from them and at the least they are pre-certified by them which insures it will pass if you send it in within 30 days and pay for the authentication.

You're right.psa for sports,but definitely not for music.I didn't think of asking who the authenticator was.I will find out .

Heritage does all their music authenticity "in house" (which is probably why they have a lot of fakes offered over the years).

Well to be fair, if you aren't thinking of selling it for 30 years you don't know for sure what the name PSA/DNA, JSA, Tracks, Caiazzo, Cox, Epperson..Etc will mean to the buying public then. Who knows what technology we will have in the future, might be able to extract real DNA from the piece and make clones of your very own Beatles! ;)

Now that would be some authentication!

Living in a land not renowned for its openess on investment matters, I admire your openess Paul. Nice item.

This is a somewhat personal question but did you set yourself a bidding limit and stick to it? I only ask because I know how hard it is not to have that extra bid - especially with a friendly voice (usually a young female) taking your telephone bids.

I have often gone over my pre-set limit but have rarely regretted it in the end. I cannot remember the exact phrase but it goes something like "the enjoyment is still there long after the cost has been forgotten".

It's funny you ask. I actually did go over my limit by 500.00.I had an agreement I had made with Myself not to go over 11k,so it wasn't too bad. You're right, there was a nice female voice on tHe line.
