For the price I gambled on this ball mainly because in the listing it says unknowen autographs. One is Al Newman ( even though I know who's signature it is it's still unknowen to me ) LOL! The other is clearly Kirby Puckett if it's real. On an old beat up ball I find it hard to think you would fake these signatures but nothing surprises me in the autograph world! The only times I've seen Thomas' signature of that style, the hook/cross on the F is downward hooking, not upward. On that alone, I'd at least start to question the ball. Coupled with it sourcing from an "estate seller," I'd worry about the item being legit. Also, the signature looks slow, so I'd really question it.

I think it's fine

I thought the same thing on the Thomas auto but remember this ball is from 1990 or 91 so his signature could have been a lot diffrent than today. As for the estate seller why not list the Puckett auto. Anyways for $10 I can always take it to the park to play with my kid! :)

I would say that the Puckett not being listed could be a result of the seller simply not knowing who Puckett was (even if a HOFer). When I say I don't like that it's an estate seller, I meant to say that most of their stuff is pretty random. I don't think, if it's good or bad, they'd know one way or the other.

I hear ya. With the condition of the ball even if it was a 100% authentic it's still not worth anything. Maybe $50. Just be another thing I bought clogging up room in the closet! :)

that is a vintage Frank Thomas signature. you have several HOF'ers on the ball.  not in great shape, but certainly collectible.
