I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Always puzzles me why people authenticate their own autographs - as someone once said, it's real or it's not. You can't always rely on photo proof, either.

Someone authenticating their own autographs in certain ways always raises the alarm for me.

Stick with official pix Rob - you can get the vast majority of SW pucs here. Ones you can't, study an authentic signature meticulously before buying from a dealer and follow the autograph code of ethics - it offers protection to you as a buyer.

Thanks for your excellent suggestions especially the one about not telling the wife. lol

If you can, just set yourself some dough aside and once you get to the fee needed, go ahead and do it. Then your wife won't be after you, haha.
Right. If someone can afford to drop $250 on a low end or dicey Ford, they can afford $450 for a higher quality, assuredly authentic example. They just need to save a little longer. Quality is always worth the extra effort.

I couldn't have said it better myself. If you are going to have only one Harrison Ford in your collection....make it a good one.

That's the bottom line friend. Great advice. Make it a great one!

I prefer PSA for entertainment autographs Robert.

Thank you for posting images of your collection Robin.  You own some very nice Star Wars autographs.  May the Force be with you!

You're welcome

I think everyone owes Pete a beer
Robert, I bought a beautiful Star Wars 8x10 signed by Harrison Ford from Skyline Signatures for $300. He is out of NYC and is a member of this site. I have bought a few from SW Sigs from him and have been very pleased. I posted a picture of my Ford earlier in this thread.

Thanks Mark, I'll go back and check out your Ford Pic and then check out Skyline. And everyone is right. The bottom line is, make it a good one. Cheers.
