Another new game. Name that horrible autograph. Unlike the common version of people posting asking for help because they don't know who it is, for this game the person posting must know. Looks like Brian was giving the old up yours on these,I too noticed the No Pier pressure albums were getting a bit scruffy,but god these are terrible. :/

Nope. Go search "Brian Wilson Autographed 11x14 PSA" on eBay. Or check out his Endless Summer LP signatures. It is what it is these days boys and girls. Hoping it was just a really off couple days but only time will tell. I know it wasn't just the items though after you see those.

Brian is 72, and if you've seen any of the interviews he's done recently to promote Love & Mercy, I'm surprised that the guy can sign at all- his replies to basic question is so muted and low-key, it's kind of obvious there is diminished brain function of some sort, whether it be aging, or side effects from the years of medications he was forced to take. I'd be happy with ANY sig I got from a (barely) living legend....and I certainly wouldn't mock it in a public forum, with any due respect.

Wow...I was kinda disappointed with the Brian Wilson autograph I got a few years ago at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, MA...until I saw these! Al Pacino would be jealous.
I waited hours by the stage door and maybe 3 minutes after the last note was played they were all piling into the car. I went up to Brian and asked him to sign my LP and he said he couldn't, he had to go. So they all piled into this ordinary sedan and drove off.
And I ran after them hoping they were staying at the Hotel Northampton across the street, which they were.
I catch up as they park and get out and, again I ask Brian if he will sign my LP and he says ok.

I know what you mean! I've been fortunate to meet Brian numerous times and the signature he gives can vary greatly depending on if he's sitting or standing, if he's with a crowd or one on one, if it's at the hotel or backstage,etc. It just depends. The nicest signature I ever received from him was when he was sitting down backstage during the intermission of his "Gershwin" tour. I went over to him, said hello, told him I enjoyed the Gershwin album, and asked if he would sign my copy of Pet Sounds. It's the nicest signature I've ever received from him. Every single letter. About a year later during the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Tour I asked him to sign my guitar. Similar situation (sitting down, one on one) and the signature was average. Last year I asked him to sign a vinyl copy of Smile and it is essentially just "B-line". This time he was sitting down but there was a group of people, so the sig was the worst I've ever received. It all just depends with Brian. I also think he hates signing pick guards and is more "in the know" about dealers than people think, which is why he gives out garbage sigs in those situations. Just my opinions...
